Four drafts, one per direction

The previous ten were scrapped. They were the same article ten times: an internal rule, explained. These four are deliberately different from each other, so the direction can be judged before another nine get written to it.

01 — THE FOUR

One from each direction

Read these as samples of a lane rather than as a sequence. If a lane is wrong, it is cheaper to know now.

The jobs nobody expects to find in Brașov

There is a floor in a Transylvanian city where people spend the evening talking to Americans about their health insurance. Here is how that happened.

We own the clinics, and it is the only interesting thing about us

Every back-office company says it thinks like an owner. We are one, and the difference shows up in the least glamorous place possible.

The positioning itself. No internal detail of any kind.

The appointment is not the hard part

Almost everything that stops someone getting mental-health care happens before they ever sit down with a therapist. Most of it is administrative, which is oddly good news.

Writing software for a job you also do

Most clinical software is built by people who have never worked a front desk. We are building ours while running one, which is rarer than it sounds and less comfortable.

02 — THE REST OF THE RUN

Outlined, deliberately unwritten

Seven more to fill a quarter, weighted towards the two directions that were missing entirely. Nothing here gets drafted until the four above come back approved.

The place and the peopleYour first month, and the terminal nobody expected to openWhat the first weeks actually involve, including being handed real work earlier than is comfortable.
The place and the peopleThe people on the other end of an American phone callWorking across a cultural gap on purpose, and the reference we wrote for ourselves about it.

03 — WHAT CHANGED

Why the last set was scrapped

They were one article, ten timesEvery piece was an internal rule with the names filed off. No place, no people, no opinion, no reason the work matters. Read as a set rather than one at a time, the blog described a company that is mainly interested in its own procedures.
Sensitive by accumulationEach detail looked harmless on its own. Together they mapped how decisions get made here, which is worth more to a competitor than to a candidate.
Written for colleaguesComment counts, review timings, acceptance-criteria mechanics. All true, all interesting to the people who were in the room, all meaningless to someone deciding whether to apply.
Checked against the real gate this timeThese four were run through the site's own guardrail patterns, the ones already enforced in CI, rather than against a private judgement of what felt safe. Clean on all thirteen rules.

04 — STILL OPEN

Two questions and one consequence

Who owns the clinical platformThe functional spec names a clinic group that is not one of ours, with its own tracker and a separate subcontract, while the approved strategy says publicly that the platform is in daily use by our own therapists. The build piece is written so it does not depend on the answer. The answer still decides how far it can go.
The LinkedIn calendar no longer matchesIts blog anchors point at pieces that no longer exist. The captions need rewriting once this set is settled, and it is not worth doing twice.
Is there a second audienceThe site now carries service pages aimed at US practices. If the blog is also meant to reach buyers rather than only candidates, that changes the balance of the seven outlined pieces, and it is easier to decide before they are written.
